The adorable two-year-old who photobombed Queen Camilla as she visited his dad's bakery in Belfast warmed hearts is the son of a former Blue Peter preseneter.

Fitzwilliam Corrie-Salmon, who is known as Fitz, from Belfast, captured the nation yesterday as he donned a tiny tuxedo while his dad, William, co-owner of Knotts Bakery, chatted with the King's wife during her Northern Ireland tour.

Today, his mother, Zoe Corrie-Salmon, a former Blue Peter presenter, appeared on This Morning via video link with Fitz and her husband William on Friday.

Zoe, 44, was a Blue Peter presenter from 2004 to 2008 and hosted the flagship children's show with Konnie Huq, Simon Thomas, Matt Baker, Liz Barker, Gethin Jones and Andy Akinwolere.

After hanging up her children's TV mic, Zoe moved to a countryside home in County Down, Northern Ireland with her husband William Corrie.

Speaking today, the former Miss Northern Ireland,  said she couldn't sleep after seeing all the coverage around her little boy last night but luckily 'Fitz' managed to get a solid 12 hours kip.

She said: 'Honestly we can't believe it, she was so good with him, she is such a lovely lady and it was such a special day.'

Asked how Fitz feels about his new found fame, she said: 'Fitz is naturally very chatty and very sociable but he has never been in that environment before with so many photographers, we didn't know what he was going to be like but he really took to it and he had a good day.

'I don't think any of it phased him, it will be funny when he is older, showing him all the press and telling him all about it, he will not believe it.'

Zoe, who was once named the 20th sexiest woman in the world by FHM, has largely stayed out of the limelight since marrying her farmer husband in 2016.

Speaking to Hello! in 2022, she said: 'Fitz can look forward to an idyllic outdoorsy childhood on the family's two farms, which sprawl across approximately one thousand acres.'

'Will grew up on the farm and he always speaks so lovingly and fondly of it. I'm looking forward to Fitz getting involved in all of that too. It's a beautiful part of the world,'.

She added that she had no plans to return to TV after putting pause on presenting work during lockdown and pregnancy

'It's a new me; I've changed from Zoe the TV presenter to Zoe the mummy and TV presenter. I want Fitz to grow up seeing both his mum and his dad working hard."

'She was a lovely lady,' said William. 'Genuinely interested in the products. It's very good to have her here.'

'She was asking questions about what we do,' he also added after the visit. 'We did joke that Fitz stole her thunder for a minute.'

Speaking to interviewers later, Zoe also gushed that 'they make a good pair, Queen Camilla and Fitzwilliam' - and that the royal was 'warm, charming and very lovely'. I just hope she had a great day in Northern Ireland.'

Sporting the nation's trademark colour, the Queen opted for an emerald green Bruce Oldfield coat and crepe dress.

She styled her platinum blonde tresses in their signature look, and paid homage to her late mother-in-law by wearing Queen Elizabeth's turquoise and diamond three leaf clover brooch.

Queen Camilla has said the King is 'doing very well', despite missing out on a trip to Belfast as he undergoes cancer treatment.

They gave Camilla some of their local produce to take home which she said she'd share with the King, including their loved fruit loaf and iced madeira.

Her Majesty is in Northern Ireland for a two-day trip, that had been due to be undertaken by the both of them.

After the King was compelled to stay at home, she decided to continue with elements of her own programme for the working trip.
